Paleigh Civic Music Association presented the Robert Sluuv Chorale and String Ensemble at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium December 1(5. The program consisted of Three d/ofe/.s by Heinrich Scluitz, Mass in 0 Major by Franz Schubert, Sacred Service by Ernest Block, S])anish Carols, Trois (’ha)isons by Claude DeBussy, three songs for chorus by Brahams, and songs for chorus from Die Flederniaus b-y Strauss. Solos from Handel’s Messiah Avere sung by Harriet Har ris, Barbara White, and Iris Thomas. The next group of songs Avas a Ceremony of Carols, Velva Tucker, soloist, followed by 0 Holy Night sung by Pat FloAvers. Four lighter pieces, concluded the pro gram: Merry Christmas, Dame Get Up and Bake Your Pies, The Vir gin’s Slumber Song, and The Tivelve Days of Christmas. Pat CoAvden was a soloist in the last number.
